Atty. Feliciano Gamboa Dizon Sr., affectionately known as “Eleng,” a native of Barangay San Joaquin, Sta. Ana, Pampanga, completed his Doctorate of Law at Ateneo De Manila University in 1942. He furthered his studies at New York University, specializing in Corporate Law.
Eleng is a renowned lawyer who served as legal counsel for prestigious entities such as the Manila Jockey Club, Union Motors, Forms Media, and Northern Gas.
Despite his remarkable success as a lawyer, Eleng remained grounded, actively participating in community initiatives. He was among the 40 civic-minded individuals who played a pivotal role in establishing Holy Cross Academy, where he served as the first Secretary of the Board of Directors.

Subsequently, he assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors for an extensive period. Under his leadership, the institution underwent significant transformations, culminating in its renaming to Holy Cross College. In 1985, the college obtained a permit to offer college courses from the Department of Education, Culture, and Sports.
Described by his niece, Ma’am Dhel Herrera, and HCC Treasurer, Ma’am Elita Flor Umali, as a dedicated board member, Atty. Dizon demonstrated unwavering commitment. “He makes it a point to attend every board meeting, even traveling from the U.S. just for the meetings in Manila.”
Atty. Dizon’s profound dedication to Holy Cross College reflects his passion for educating the youth. He firmly believed in the institution’s potential to grow and provide quality education to generations to come.
