Holy Cross College – Senior High School Department proudly announces that it has been selected as one of only eight schools nationwide to receive the prestigious PEAC-SCUOLA RECAST Educational Technology Grant for School Year 2025–2026. This recognition highlights HCC’s ongoing commitment to providing quality Catholic education while embracing digital innovation to prepare students for a future-ready learning environment.

Through the school’s successful proposal, “Project HEART: Harnessing Education Advancement through Responsive Technology,” HCC will gain access to advanced digital tools and resources designed to enhance teaching and learning. The grant provides the SCUOLA Interactive Playboard, innovative learning content, hands-on training for teachers and IT staff, and continuous maintenance support, empowering both educators and students to thrive in a technology-enhanced classroom.

This milestone reflects the dedication and vision of the project proponents, Mr. Camilo D. Lacanlale and Mr. Kier Anthony G. Boydon, whose hard work and commitment were instrumental in securing this national recognition.

Holy Cross College extends heartfelt gratitude to the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) and its partners for entrusting the institution with this opportunity. With this support, HCC continues to advance its mission of delivering transformative education, blending strong Catholic values with modern digital tools to equip learners for success in the 21st century.

Holy Cross College proudly congratulates the Senior High School Department and its students for earning national recognition as one of the Top 6 Performing Schools in the National Achievement Test (NAT) – Grade 12, out of 170 schools across the Province of Pampanga.

Holy Cross College’s Senior High School students captivated audiences and judges alike as they took center stage at KRUS Festival 2025, delivering performances that combined skill, creativity, and cultural pride.

The Senior High School (SHS) team emerged victorious in multiple categories, including Street Dance Champion and 1st Place in Interpretative Dance, demonstrating their talent, coordination, and dedication. Each movement and every beat reflected not only technical excellence but also a deep sense of faith and identity, turning their performances into a celebration of Crucian spirit and cultural heritage.

These achievements are a testament to the students’ discipline, teamwork, and passion for the arts, inspiring the entire Holy Cross College community. Holy Cross College proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) journalists at the 42nd Divisional Secondary Schools Press Conference (DSSPC 2025), held on February 4 and 5 at Potrero National High School and San Vicente Pilot School for Philippine Craftsmen. The event showcased the talents of young writers, broadcasters, and multimedia journalists, and our Crucians truly shone across multiple categories.

Leading the way, Maria Mikaela Miranda earned 2nd Place in Science and Technology Writing (Filipino) and will advance to the Regional Secondary Schools Press Conference (RSPC 2025) alongside the school’s award-winning Radio Broadcasting (English) team, which secured 1st Place and the prestigious title of Overall Champion.

Holy Cross College recently hosted its Research Colloquium 2025 under the theme, “Taking the Big Leap: Nurturing Academic Excellence through an Emerging Culture of Research.” The event provided a vibrant platform for students and faculty to share knowledge, explore innovative ideas, and cultivate a culture of inquiry and academic excellence

This year’s colloquium featured 10 research works, including 6 completed studies and 4 research proposals, reflecting a wide range of topics and disciplines. Participants presented their findings and insights with clarity, confidence, and scholarly rigor, demonstrating the growing emphasis on research-driven learning at HCC.

Among the standout presentations, Mr. Kier Anthony Boydon from the Senior High School Department earned 2nd Best Presenter for his study titled, “Towards the Conceptualization of Interdisciplinary Education Committee in Holy Cross College: Teachers’ Shared Views and Practice in Using Interdisciplinary Approach in Teaching.” His work highlighted the importance of collaborative, cross-disciplinary teaching methods and contributed valuable insights to the school’s academic community.

The HCC Research Colloquium 2025 not only showcased the talents of student researchers but also reinforced the institution’s commitment to fostering critical thinking, academic excellence, and innovation. By encouraging students and educators to engage in meaningful research, HCC continues to nurture a culture where ideas thrive and knowledge transforms into practical solutions for education and society.

Holy Cross College proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Senior High School student Sam Peter Dela Rosa, who played a key role in his team’s success as 1st Runner-Up in the Mobile Legends Competition at the Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines (MRSP) Skills Competition 2025.

This remarkable accomplishment highlights not only Sam Peter’s individual skill and dedication but also the teamwork, strategy, and competitive spirit that define HCC’s Senior High School learners. Competing against some of the most talented participants nationwide, our Crucian representative demonstrated focus, resilience, and a commitment to excellence, bringing honor to both his team and the school.
