TEACHERS’ DAY MESSAGE
Engr. Gervacio Alfredo N. Balatbat
Chairman, Board of Directors
Holy Cross Colleges, Inc.
To all our dedicated teachers of Holy Cross Colleges, Inc., Happy Teachers’ Day!
The Board of Directors recognizes that the work of a teacher does not begin and end inside the classroom. We know of the long hours spent preparing lessons, checking papers, attending to the needs of students, and finding ways to make sure that every Crucian receives the quality education that we, as an educational institution, have promised to provide.
Behind every lesson taught and every student guided is a teacher who gives not only time and knowledge, but also patience, understanding, and commitment.
As an engineer, I know personally how important teachers are in shaping the future of a student. I would not have discovered some of my own abilities and talents if my professors had not recognized my potential and encouraged me to develop it.
That is one of the greatest roles of a teacher. You see possibilities in students that they may not yet see in themselves. You help them discover what they can become, develop their talents, and prepare them to someday become professionals, innovators, educators, and leaders of our nation.
This is why the Board values the important work that each of you does. Please know that we remain committed to supporting our teachers and providing an environment where you can continue to grow, teach effectively, and fulfill your important role in the lives of our students.
To all our teachers, thank you for your effort, your sacrifices, and your unwavering dedication to every Crucian entrusted to your care.
The knowledge you share today may build a career tomorrow. The encouragement you give today may inspire a future leader. And the potential you recognize in one student may someday make a difference in the lives of many.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Holy Cross Colleges, Inc., I extend my deepest appreciation and gratitude to all of you.
Happy Teachers’ Day!
Continue to inspire, guide, and bring out the best in every Crucian.
