Selected pre-service teachers and faculty members from Holy Cross College attended the General Assembly of Pre-Service Teachers on March 6, 2026, held at the Kalinangan Auditorium of La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) in Malolos City, Bulacan.

The event, themed “PAFTE III: The AI-Augmented Educator – Bridging Innovation and Integrity in the Philippine Classroom,” gathered aspiring educators from across the region to explore the integration of artificial intelligence in teaching while upholding ethical and professional standards. Representing Holy Cross College were fourth-year students from the BEED, English, Filipino, Mathematics, and Science programs, accompanied by their faculty advisers.

Participants engaged in workshops, discussions, and seminars that highlighted the responsible and effective use of AI tools to enhance classroom learning, curriculum design, and student engagement. The assembly provided invaluable opportunities for future educators to learn from experts, exchange ideas with peers, and reflect on how technology can complement traditional teaching practices without compromising integrity. Through initiatives like PAFTE III, Holy Cross College continues to prepare pre-service teachers who are not only competent and innovative but also guided by ethical principles and a strong commitment to shaping the next generation of learners.
