PSYCH ARTICLEHCC PSYCHOLOGY GRADUATE RANKS 8TH NATIONWIDE IN SEPTEMBER 2026 PSYCHOMETRICIAN LICENSURE EXAMINATION

Holy Cross College (HCC) celebrates another meaningful achievement as Angelica Dalton Lorenzo, RPm, a Psychology graduate of the institution, secured 8th place nationwide in the September 2026 Psychometrician Licensure Examination (PMLE).

Lorenzo’s achievement marks a significant milestone in her professional journey and adds another notable accomplishment to the growing list of achievements of HCC Psychology graduates. Her performance reflects the years of preparation, perseverance, and commitment she invested in pursuing her chosen profession.

Beyond the national ranking, Lorenzo’s success represents the culmination of an academic journey shaped by learning, mentorship, and the support of the people who believed in her. Her achievement also reflects HCC’s continuing efforts to provide Psychology students with the knowledge, guidance, and opportunities they need as they prepare for professional practice.

Joining Lorenzo in this milestone are 27 HCC Psychology graduates who successfully passed the September 2026 PMLE, giving the institution an overall passing rate of 79.41%. The graduates’ success was also made possible through the guidance of their faculty and mentors, the encouragement of their families and friends, and the support of the HCC community throughout their academic journey.

For Lorenzo, however, reaching the national ranks is not simply about personal achievement. It is also an opportunity to remember the people and community who helped shape her journey and to carry forward the values she learned along the way.

“Ang values na gusto kong dalhin na ininstil sa akin ni HCCI is yung payback to the community. Lagi’t lagi mong lilingunin kung saan ka nanggaling at kung sino yung mga taong nandiyan nung nagsisimula ka pa lang.”
— Angelica Dalton Lorenzo, RPm, 8th Placer, September 2026 PMLE

Her words reflect a perspective that places gratitude alongside achievement. For Lorenzo, success is not only about reaching a goal, but also about remembering where the journey began and recognizing those who were present along the way.

As she and her fellow HCC graduates begin the next chapter of their professional lives, they carry with them more than the designation of Registered Psychometrician (RPm). They also carry the knowledge, values, and experiences gained through their years at HCC—preparing them to contribute meaningfully to the field and to the communities they will serve.

This milestone is a celebration of both individual perseverance and shared support. It is a reminder that behind every successful professional is a journey shaped by determination, guidance, family, and community.

Congratulations to Angelica Dalton Lorenzo, RPm, our 8th placer nationwide, and to all 27 newly registered psychometricians of HCC!

May you continue to uphold the values you have learned, remain grounded in gratitude, and use your profession to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
