The School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASED) held its Recollection Program with the theme “From Learners to Leaders: Answer the Call to Make a Difference.” The event provides students with an opportunity to pause from their academic routines and engage in meaningful reflection as they prepare to take on greater responsibilities in their personal and professional lives.
The recollection program aims to guide students in deepening their faith, strengthening their values, and reflecting on their purpose as future educators and leaders. Through moments of prayer, reflection, and dialogue, participants are encouraged to renew their commitment to service and to embrace their role in creating positive change within their communities.
This special gathering highlights the importance of leadership rooted in compassion, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve others. As students transition from learners to future professionals, the program reminds them that leadership is not only about knowledge and skills but also about character, responsibility, and dedication to the common good.
The event is further enriched by the presence of Mr. Tich Almer T. Ramos, MA, who serves as the guest speaker for the program. Through his inspiring message, he shares valuable insights that encourage students to listen to their calling, pursue their aspirations with purpose, and remain committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
By providing a space for spiritual growth and personal reflection, the recollection program continues to uphold the mission of Holy Cross College to nurture not only academic excellence but also moral and spiritual formation. It serves as a reminder that true leadership begins with a strong foundation of faith, humility, and service.
As participants take part in this meaningful experience, they are encouraged to move forward with renewed inspiration, ready to lead with purpose, serve with compassion, and contribute positively to the communities they will one day guide and influence.
