The School of Computing, Information Technology and Engineering, (SCITE) envisions to provide the conducive environment to achieve holistic quality education in Technology and Engineering and become one of the leading academic institutions in the region thereby producing engineering and computer professionals who are God loving leaders, globally competitive and socially responsible citizens of the country.
MISSION
The School of Computing, Information Technology, Engineering mission is to prepare liberally educated, competent and skilled engineers and computer professionals who will contribute to nation-building through the instruction of qualified and dedicated teachers, applying 21st century teaching skills, research and extension thus, enhancing student knowledge through values and religious education, meaningful academic engagement and experiential learning.
OBJECTIVES
- To produce competent engineers and computer professionals through high quality of instruction and learning;
- To help in the transfer of modern advancement, through innovative researches in engineering and technology that suited to the demands of the industry and community;
- To provide extension services and technical assistance to help the community through its outreach programs where engineering and computer professions’ skills and knowledge are needed;
- To provide the fundamental tools and skills in the technical disciplines for globally competitive, God-fearing and socially responsible citizens of the country.
